How It Works

Bringing Home an Olympian Cane Corso Puppy

At Olympian Cane Corso in Sandy, Utah, we follow a structured and intentional placement process. Because we produce only a limited number of Cane Corso puppies each year, proper placement is a priority.

Our goal is to ensure every puppy is matched with the right home for long-term success.

1

 Complete the Puppy Application

All interested families must first complete the puppy application form. This allows us to learn more about your experience with large working breeds, your lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a Cane Corso.

Once your application is reviewed, we will contact you to discuss next steps.

2

Application Review & Conversation

After reviewing your application, we may schedule a conversation to ensure the Cane Corso is the right breed for you. This is also an opportunity to ask questions about upcoming litters, training expectations, and ownership responsibilities.

We believe communication is key to responsible placement.

3

Deposit After Pregnancy Confirmation

Deposits are accepted only after pregnancy has been confirmed. Once confirmed, the litter will be announced on our website and social media pages.

4

Litter Updates & Puppy Selection

We provide weekly updates and photos as the litter develops. Families may visit the puppies after their first vaccinations at approximately six weeks of age.

Companion puppies are selected in deposit order, with careful attention to temperament and overall fit. We prioritize long-term compatibility over appearance.

5

Pickup & Ongoing Support

Puppies go home with:

  • AKC registration
  • Tail docked
  • Front and rear dew claws removed
  • Current vaccinations and deworming
  • Two-year health guarantee
  • Lifetime breeder and training support
  • Personalized “How to Raise a Cane
  • Corso” booklet

Our responsibility does not end at pickup. We remain available for training support and guidance throughout your dog’s life.

Frequently Asked Questions

When can I send a deposit?

We accept deposits once pregnancy has been confirmed. At that time, the litter will be posted on our website, Instagram page (Utah Cane Corso), and Facebook page (Olympian Cane Corso).

How can I send a deposit or pay for my Cane Corso?

We accept cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal for deposits and final payments.

Can I choose my future puppy from the litter?

Companion puppies are selected in the order deposits are received. It is helpful to let us know your preferred gender. We work to ensure the best temperament match for each family.

Can I put a deposit down for a specific color?

We do not breed litters for specific colors. We breed for health and temperament first. If a puppy of your preferred color is available, we will consider that during placement, but color is never the primary focus.

Can I pay more to get first pick?

No. Puppies are chosen strictly in the order deposits are received, not based on the amount of the deposit.

How much is the deposit?

The deposit to reserve your place for a Cane Corso puppy is $500. Deposits are non-refundable and secure your pick order position.

If I decide not to go with a puppy from the current litter, does my deposit transfer?

Yes. Your deposit may transfer to a future litter as long as we continue breeding Cane Corso.

Are the parents health tested?

Yes. All breeding dogs undergo essential health testing. Health results are posted on each individual breeding dog’s page.

Can we come meet your dogs?

Yes. Serious buyers are welcome to schedule a visit to meet our adult Cane Corso in Sandy, Utah. We encourage families to ensure this is the right breed for them.

When can I meet the litter or my puppy?

Because puppies are susceptible to parvo prior to vaccination, visits are allowed after their first vaccinations at approximately six weeks of age. We post weekly photos and updates before that time.

If I pay more, can I get breeding rights?

Breeding rights are based on the quality and potential of each individual puppy, not simply payment. All puppies are AKC registered as companions unless otherwise agreed upon.

What is a companion quality puppy?

A companion quality Cane Corso is AKC registered with limited registration. These puppies fully represent the breed in temperament and appearance but are not determined at eight weeks to be show or breeding prospects.
